Office space Allianz Arena

CBA is planning the new office space for the Münchner Stadiongesellschaft in the Allianz Arena in Munich. The rounded room corners create flowing transitions between the main and secondary areas. The alternation between carpeting and parquet flooring marks the access zone and the separated office spaces.

Indoor spaces stadium SV Darmstadt 98

The main stand of the SV Darmstadt 98 stadium was rebuilt. In addition to the hospitality areas on the upper floor, CBA was also commissioned to design the rooms in the basement. An interior design concept was developed which runs like a design guideline through all the rooms such as the changing rooms, press area, mixed zone and fitness area. The significant graphics on the walls make the basement highly recognizable.

The concept for the fan store represents a hybrid use of sales and museum. The exhibition area is directly accessible from the actual fan store.
All the furniture is planned as flexible elements as significantly more customers visit the sales area on match days. The materials used are restrained and industrial. Red, black and wood dominate the room.

Modular stadium

The study for a modular stadium examined how sports stadiums can adapt to different requirements in terms of area and content over time. The basic construction consists of a three-dimensional grid with the same dimensions, which can be filled with different volumes. Depending on requirements, more or fewer boxes can be added or removed.
This allows other uses such as office space or even living space to be accommodated in the Supergrid over the years.

Welcome Zone West Allianz Arena

A player installation was designed for the VIP and Business entrance of the Allianz Arena, which accompanies guests as they move along the escalators to the premium and box areas. The juxtaposition of portraits of the current FC Bayern Munich squad, represents a reinterpretation of the classic team image. The more the viewer shifts their perspective, the more the players’ individual contours blend into one person.

Paulaner Fan Zone Allianz Arena

Following the departure of TSV 1860 Munich from the Allianz Arena, the stadium’s Fan Zone North was completely redesigned and rebuilt. The previously large, continuous area was divided in half with a floor-to-ceiling folding wall and is shared during Champions League matches by UEFA and FC Bayern Munich. On FC Bayern Munich match days, the Fan Zone serves as a new starting point for fans and stadium guests. On non-match days, tours of the Allianz Arena begin here. The interior design is inspired by the classic breweries and restaurants in Munich. Materials used include wood, steel, natural stone, and copper. Black wall and ceiling elements visually shorten the room through their 90° angled placement, and indicate the buffets, bars, and seating areas.

Hospitality stadium SC Freiburg

CBA is planning the hospitality areas in the new stadium of SC Freiburg, which extend over three floors. First floor and 1st floor, which are connected by two gallery openings, represent the largest area. The ends of the rooms each form themed niches such as the Black Forest Lounge or the City of Freiburg niche. All buffet counters are planned as mobile units in order to be able to use the area flexibly during events.

The 2nd floor represents the premium area in the stadium and differs from the other areas in its interior design concept. Two open kitchens and a cigar lounge complete the offer on this floor.

Box corridor Allianz Arena

The circulating corridor in the Allianz Arena, which opens up to all 105 of the stadium’s boxes, will be redesigned on a total length of about 740m. The goal is to create a higher quality of stay with the possibility of short communication. This will involve distributing floor speakers along the entire length, emerging from the walls at angles and serving a second purpose of high tables. Ceiling speakers with information and signs help visitors orient themselves. Additionally, each side of the stadium will receive a color code which will be implemented in the form of colored surfaces in the floor and ceiling speakers.

Business Club Allianz Arena

The reconstruction envisages the restructuring and redesign of the Business Club in the Allianz Arena in Munich. The large, existing kitchen islands will be exchanged for small elements adapted to the food concept and the room proportion in their scale. Every unit is assigned to a specific culinary theme. The stations give rhythm to and divide the surface through their number and order. The architectural concept of the wave-like siding on the counters and walls picks up on the themes of motion, dynamism, and emotion, derived from the atmosphere of the stadium’s interior. The interior design is enhanced by furniture from Rolf Benz.

Arena Bistro

The largest restaurant in the Allianz Arena in Munich was reconstructed according to CBA’s design. The elongated room is divided by bent, medium-high wooden walls. Steel storage shelves underline the rhythm of the room and serve as decoration. The new, open kitchen block in the middle of the surface forms the center of the Arena Bistro.
